The world in transition: rethinking societal challenges and the response of local experiments

Webinar

This online Coffee Talk aims to highlight the critical role of local-level innovation in addressing today’s pressing societal challenges. The goal is to explore how these localised efforts can overcome these challenges and be scaled, supported, and integrated into more cohesive, multi-level policy responses across Europe.

Participants at the event will be among the first to receive the publication ‘Societal Challenges and the Green Deal in Europe Post-Coronavirus’. Based on the SHARED GREEN DEAL social experiments, the publication examines how post-COVID-19 societal challenges such as environmental crises, geopolitical tensions and living costs can drive, accelerate, or hinder progress in the European Green Deal implementation.

The event is kept intentionally short in respect of busy agendas and as a commitment to stay on-point, but anyone with questions, comments, further ideas are invited to remain on the call following its official end.

You can register for the webinar here.

This webinar is part of a series of short online events held every Thursday in October. See the full programme here:https://sharedgreendeal.eu/webinars-SSH
